Example 1 Reseller A based in London has an existing client that they provide ongoing support and desktop / server solutions. Their client is opening a new office in London and requires a new phone system and is considering a VoIP solution, Reseller A does not have these skills but wants to maintain the client relationship. All reseller A needs to do is go onto Technical Resource website enter the location of his client and tick the required skill set required e.g. VoiP and a list of resellers and IT / Telecom contractors in that area, with the required skill set, will be listed. Reseller A can then make contact with the preferred supplier and discuss commercial arrangements.

Example 2 Reseller A has a new client running Citrix who is having problems. Reseller A has basic Citrix knowledge so looks at the Technical Resource website to get a list of resellers and self employed contractors with the relevant Citrix experience. Reseller A can then buy the resource required on an hourly or day rate as required.

Example 3 A Cisco VoIP contractor placed his details on the Technical Resource website for free, in return he received enquiries for his services from IT and Telecom resellers who did not have VoIP skills inhouse.

Example 4 Reseller A wins a large contract and requires additional technical resource to fulfil the clients requirements. The length of the contract did not justify employing more engineers. Technical Resource will enable Reseller A to buy in the required IT resource on an ‘as required’ basis. |
